This Privacy Policy explains how 9927201 Alberta Ltd, operating as Sandy Connery Coaching (“I,” “me,” or “my”), handles your personal information when you use sandyconnery.com, the Human Design Field Notes podcast site, my newsletter, and my free chart tool.

The short version
I only collect what I need to send you emails, generate your Human Design chart, book sessions, and run this website. I don’t sell your information or rent your email address. You can unsubscribe or ask me to delete your data anytime.

What I collect

When you join my newsletter: your name and email address.

When you request a free Human Design chart: you enter your birth date, time, and location into a chart tool provided by BodyGraph and your email is added to my newsletter list. BodyGraph uses your birth details to calculate your chart. I don’t receive or store them. How BodyGraph handles your information is covered by their privacy policy.

When you book a reading or coaching: you give me your name, email, and your birth date, time, and location through my booking calendar (Calendly). I need these to create your chart for your session. I enter them into my BodyGraph account to build your chart, and I use them only for your session and follow-up. Payments are handled by Marvelous and its payment processor. I don’t see or store your full card number.

When you use the podcast site: if you leave a voice message, I receive the recording and any name or contact details you include. If you leave one, I may play it on an episode unless you tell me not to.

When you visit this website: basic technical information such as your browser, device, the page that sent you here, and how long you stayed. This is collected through cookies and Google Analytics , Squarespace Analytics and PodPage analytics.

How I use it

• To send you the newsletter and updates you signed up for

• To generate your chart and so you can download it.

• To book, deliver, and follow up on readings and coaching

• To answer your messages

• To understand which pages and episodes people find useful

• To meet legal and tax obligations

I won’t use your birth details for anything other than your chart and your sessions.

Who I share it with
I use a small number of services to run my business. They only receive what they need to do their job:

• Kit for email

• Bodygraph for Human Design chart generation

• Marvelous for checkout and delivery of readings and coaching

• Calendly for booking, and gathering information for our session.

• Squarespace for this website

• PodPage for the podcast site and voice messages

These companies have their own privacy policies, and I’m not responsible for their practices. I don’t sell your personal information. I will also share information if the law requires it, or if I need to protect my rights or someone’s safety.

Where your information is stored
Many of these services store data on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. By giving me your information, you understand it may be stored and processed there, where privacy laws may differ from Canada’s.

How long I keep it
I keep your information while you’re on my list or working with me, and for as long afterward as I need it for business, tax, or legal reasons. I delete birth details six months after our last session, or sooner if you ask.

Email and your choices
You’ll only get my emails if you’ve signed up or have an existing relationship with me, in line with Canada’s anti-spam law (CASL). Every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works instantly. You can also reply and ask me to remove you.

Your rights
You can ask me to:

• Show you the personal information I have about you

• Correct anything that’s wrong

• Delete your information

• Stop using your information for marketing

Email me at sandy@sandyconnery.com and I’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not happy with my response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security
I use reputable services and take reasonable steps to protect your information. No system on the internet is completely secure, so I can’t guarantee absolute security.

Children
My services are meant for adults. I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given me information, email me and I’ll delete it.

Links to other sites
My site links to other websites, like Hey Marvelous, iHeart, Apple, and Spotify. I’m not responsible for how they handle your information.

Changes to this policy
If I change how I handle your information, I’ll update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes, I’ll email you.
